This Forum is a result of a suggestion from Member "Moewasthebest". I pass my sincere thanks and look forward to all entries. Below is the post from "Moewasthebest":

After a serious traffic accident I'm permanently disabled and unable to play golf in the traditional manner. I took up NG last year and it seems to be the answer for disabled people who have limited motion with their legs/hips and who do not have the stamina usually required.
I'd like to see a topic dedicated to disabled golfers. I think there's a huge demand there and we can share experiences and tips.
Thanks
ps. Ironically, IF Moe has savant he was in fact a disabled person! Some disability!

I just had back surgery (L2-3 discectomy) and was wondering where I should start my rehab for golf?

I suggest you discuss this with your doctor. You may want to show him our website so he will understand the concept of the Single Plane Swing also. The Quick Start Video is always the best start so you get the Natural Hold and Setup correct. Then some easy swings using the Grass Cutting Drill (if your doctor approves) to get the sense of "arm independence". If this swing is approved by your doctor, I would also suggest you do the majority of your practice from the Golfer's Footprint as it will give you a great reference for clubface aim and keep your attention on forward swing path during your swing.

In my view, Moe's single plane swing and stance is a major benefit to persons with disabilities who want to either start playing golf or improve their game. I am disabled - requiring leg braces - and balance is a key problem. I started learning Natural Golf 4 years ago here in British Columbia. Now I can play relatively well - no modesty here - because of a single plane swing, wider stance, and a quick address of the ball. This allows me to minimize lower body movement and retain my balance.
Natural Golf actual works!
This year we are forming a disabled golf association - Victoria Disabled Golfers Association - and we know that Natural Golf is a method that can help persons with disabilities. There have recently been assistive devices, technical innovations, and physical methods (such as NG) that are collectively opening up the game to a potentially large number of people.
Our association would like to hear from other disabled golfers (and their groups), so here is a link to our FACEBOOK BLog.
